  • Maybe someday...

    I read the news today...

After having read people's reactions to second, maybe third hand accounts of racism, it was a bit surprising to come across an article of a former bigot. http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20090404/ap_on_re_us/one_man_s_apology

A man from Carolina has come to terms with blacks in America and began apologizing for his attacks on people of color in his community when he was younger. Now in his 60's, the man is trying to come to terms with his past and prepare for the possibility of an afterlife. Is this a symbol of things to come, and if so, are others willing to meet these challenges to reflect the self?
